Karpathos has also been known for strong winds year round and was feared by sailors. Today we can enjoy it by letting it carry us over the waves. Chicken Bay is shallow and ideal for begginners and Guns Bay as well as Devils Bay are perfect for the more experienced Surfers.

Kitesurfing
Windsurfers are not the only ones who enjoy the wind, Kitesurfers have the chance to fill their Kites with it on Agrilaopotamos beach and fly above the waves!
Mountain- biking
With a variety of routes that vary in difficulty, Karpathos offers some amazing experiences for mountain-bikers and cyclists in general.
Guided mountain-bike tours are available from experienced cyclists as well as equipment rental.
Climbing
Breathtaking views, high rocky mountain peaks and winding trails is pretty much Karpathos. A climbers paradise. Guided tours by expert climbers are available and there are many hooks placed if you feel you would like to discover by yourself.
